Welcome to Nunnery Lane Dental Practice
A warm hello and welcome to all patients, old and new! Nunnery Lane Dental Practice has been a much-loved part of the landscape in the Bishopthorpe Road area now for over 3 decades, and has just seen a change of ownership.
We are currently actively developing the practice and will hopefully be moving over to a new purpose-built site in the next few months. Part of the development will see an introduction of new treatments so that we can serve the dental health of our patients more comprehensively and be able to offer increasingly advanced treatments where needed. This period will no doubt see some disruption from time to time although we will strive to keep it to a minimum. Growing pains are inevitable, given the amount of work and investment that will be going into developing the practice, and we hope that you will be patient with us during this transition.

How To Find Us
We are situated about 12-15 minute’s walk from the main rail station in York. The postcode to type in to satnav is YO23 1AH.
As you exit the front of the station, turn right and follow the road as it goes uphill and bends to the left. Continue to the cross junction. You will see the Punch Bowl in front of you to the left. Cross the road and continue on. Nunnery Lane NCP car park will be along your left hand side. You will reach a fork in the road. Keep on the right hand side and carry on walking. Nunnery Lane Dental Practice is situated in the same building as The Minster Clinic, opposite York Samaritans.
If you are driving, there is 1 hour free parking behind the clinic on St Benedict’s Road, and 2 public car parks nearby if that is not available – one along Bishopthorpe Road just past The Pig and Pastry (opposite Sainsbury’s) which is 2 minute’s walk and very reasonably priced, and the other about a 5 minute walk on Nunnery Lane (Park on the end of the car park closest to the clinic).York
